When to book your consultation
Booking in your consultation at The Moissanite Company is an exciting step! For some, it will be the first time you’ll be trying on engagement rings, and for others, it marks the first phase in the process of surprising your partner with a proposal.
So, when should you book in to visit our showroom? How far in advance from when you’re planning to propose, or get married, do you need to have your consultation?
Our consultations are perfect for a number of situations, and when to come in will depend on your circumstances and timeline - but of course there are no rules!
You’re welcome to book an appointment to view and try on our beautiful rings whenever you like, as all of our consultations are completely free of any obligation to make a purchase. You can come in well in advance, just to get ideas or confirm the style you like.
However, if you do have a date or particular time frame in mind that you’d like to get engaged, or married, it’s best to plan your appointment in advance.
Our standard turnaround time for a made to order rings from our Signature range, or Complete Custom design is 4-6 weeks. This is from the time you place your order, or pay your initial deposit, to when your ring is completed and posted to you.
If you’re considering a style from our Signature range, a minimum of 6 weeks between your consultation and when you’d like to receive your ring is ideal.
If you need some guidance on choosing your ring, or are looking to do a Complete Custom Design, our friendly jewellery consultants can provide you with advice and design options, and help you reach a decision. In these situations, having more time to work with us on your dream ring design is best. Sometimes for Complete Custom rings, the process of refining and confirming your design can take a few weeks, on top of our standard crafting turnaround time, so it’s important to keep this in mind when booking your appointment.
It’s important to also note that appointments at our flagship Brisbane showroom, particularly for weekends, can book out quite far in advance. You can make your appointment via our website here.
