Josephine and Albert’s Love Story

From first crossing paths at a school graduation, to officially meeting at the gym, Albert and Josephine’s connection was undeniable. Their friendship soon blossomed into something more. With some time and a sentimental proposal later - they’re soon to be married!
They shared all the details of their proposal, love story and wedding plans with us, and we are so excited to share it with you!
Q. All great love stories have a beginning, so tell us yours! How did you meet?
A. It was at my cousin’s year 12 graduation that we first crossed paths, with Albert being in my cousin’s graduating class and also a friend of his. However, it was only sometime later that we officially met at the gym. Our siblings worked together at our local gym, and had begun training together in a group - so we decided to tag along. It was at this point we started speaking to one another. We started as very close friends, but our connection was undeniable, and it blossomed into something more.
Q. We're in the business of proposals, and never get tired of hearing your stories: tell us all about the moment you popped the question!
A. As new parents, we had a rule of setting a date night at the end of each month. June was a busy month for us, so Albert had told me that we would push our date to the first weekend of July. That day had come around and we went about it as normal. Dinner was booked at a very sentimental venue - the restaurant where we had our first outing as a family for my birthday the year prior. When we arrived he took me through a different entryway which I didn’t think much of, but once we got to the opening I was met with the most beautiful proposal. It was then that I realised what was happening, Albert got down on one knee and asked the age-old question!
Q. It's been an honour to play a small part in your love story so far. What made you choose The Moissanite Company and how did you decide on your ring design?
A. I’ve always loved the diamond look but could never justify spending that much on a ring and the thought of wearing that price tag on my hand would stress me out. We came across The Moissanite Company from a friend and instantly fell in love with the designs and the ethical nature you follow for each ring creation. We booked a consultation and tried on many rings but The Florence Ring stole my heart. We loved the sentiment the ring held, with each of the 3 stones representing our past, present and future as a couple. We believed this was the ring that best captured the essence of our love.
Q. You've chosen to spend the rest of your lives together, so what is it that you love most about each other & your relationship?
A. Jose has always been my rock. She always sees the best in me, even when I can't see it myself. I love knowing that no matter what I’m going through, she’s always backing me.
Q. While you might be still soaking in the proposal love bubble, have you made any plans for your wedding? We'd love to hear all about it!
A. We are looking for a nature vibe for our wedding and would like to keep it nice and intimate with just very close family and friends present for our special day.
