Ring Resizing with The Moissanite Company
When ordering an engagement ring, it can be hard to know what ring size to choose - especially when you’re planning for a complete surprise!
And while we have a few recommendations on how to make an educated guess, such as measuring an existing ring of your partners, we know sometimes it’s just not possible.
That’s why we offer complimentary ring resizing within the first six months of your order with The Moissanite Company.
So, what does the ring resizing process involve?
Firstly, let’s talk about the optimal fit of your ring. Ideally, the ring should go on easily, sit comfortably, and have a bit of resistance over the knuckle when being removed. Without this resistance, your ring is at risk of coming off when you don’t want it to.
If when you first receive your ring, it mostly fits but you’re concerned it might be a little too loose or a little too tight, we recommend wearing it for at least a week before deciding whether or not to resize it. This is because our fingers can fluctuate in size, due to temperature, weather, hormones and even exercise.
If you wish to proceed with a resize, the first step is to email us.
Deciding on what size to resize your ring to can sometimes be a challenge. In some cases, you might have another ring that you wear on the same finger that you know the size of, but usually we recommend being properly sized by us at our Brisbane Showroom. If you are overseas or interstate, we can send you one of our complimentary sizing kits or you can stop into a local jewellery store to have your ring finger sized. Once we’ve established the best size for your ring, the next step is to return your ring to us. For our interstate and international customers, we send you an express shipping label to post your piece back to us. For our Brisbane customers, you can book a drop-off appointment at our Showroom.
Once your special piece is back in our hands, our jewellers resize your ring, which usually takes a few business days. When the resize is complete, you will be notified and your ring is either posted back to you or ready for collection.
